ANCYL President Julius Malema made his debut as a radio host yesterday when he and One co-presenter Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini blazed the Metro FM airwaves. Metro FM normally invites certain celebrities to host shows every year during its transition week when its lineup is being changed, usually at the end of March. Minnie and Juju were in for Glen Lewis, Unathi Msengana and Melanie Bala between 15:00 to 18:00.
The two dynamites seemed to get on well, in fact they even flirted a little bit through their three-hour stint on national radio. Among guests they had were Minister of Sports and Recreation Fikile Mbalula, a former ANCYL President himself who also presented one Metro FM show when he was leading the young lions.
But there was no talk of politics or serious stuff as the two presenters seemed to brush off anyone who even attempted to stray into the world of politrix.
Meanwhile the Juju one is NOT and has NOT resigned as ANCYL President as stated by the league’s website yesterday. According to spokespeople, there was a hack that took place and the statement is in fact invalid.
