Athlete Caster Semenya may have not successfully defended her 800m crown in South Korea, but she really did the nation proud by snatching second place in the final and running away with the silver medal. And that she took it so casually and looked very happy at her achievement just goes to show what an amazing young woman she is.
But she cannot rest on her laurels Ms Semenya from Limpopo. Tonight she is in Zurich, Germany, where she takes part in the second leg of the Diamond League final. Her opponents may well be the same ones she took on at the Daegu games on Sunday. That includes the new champion Mariya Savinov. Both are also preparing for the 2012 Olympics in London.
